On the morning of August 24, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry and Trade (HUIT) organized a welcome event for the incoming students of the 14th intake to complete the enrollment procedures. In an atmosphere of excitement, many incoming students and their parents on this day to the new campus. The enrollment period will take place from August 24 to September 10, 2023.

Incoming students are required to submit their enrollment documents

Here is the first admission intake of HUIT following its recent name change (previously known as Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry). This milestone holds great significance and importance for both the university and the incoming students, as the university is oriented towards becoming a leading applied higher education institution, fostering innovation and creativity, offering diverse fields of study, and aiming to have a prominent position within the Asian region. It also aims to pioneer certain fields in the field of industry and trade by the year 2045.

In 2023, HUIT also opened three new undergraduate programs, including electronic commerce, financial technology, and data science, bringing the total number of undergraduate majors to 33, 10 master’s degree programs, and 3 doctoral degree programs.

The incoming students are assisted and guided during their enrollment by volunteer mentors 

In order to provide the best conditions for new students’ enrollment, the university has spent several days planning and preparing the facilities and human resources to ensure a thorough reception of incoming students. HUIT has arranged personnel to address the concerns of parents and incoming students regarding academic matters, dormitory registration, temporary residence registration, and other procedures.

Following the enrollment, the university will continue to organize a series of Welcome Events for freshmen, featuring exciting and meaningful activities designed to help them quickly adapt to the new environment and prepare for a vibrant and exciting university journey ahead.
